Perspective Cloud legal information
Terms of Service
Effective 26 July 2026 · Version 2026-07-26
These Terms govern access to Perspective Cloud, an organisation-focused software service operated by Chibuike Chidi-Iwobi (“Perspective Cloud”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, accepting an invitation on behalf of an organisation, starting a trial or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who may use the service
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. Each member must use an individual account and keep credentials secure.
2. The service
Perspective Cloud provides forms, controlled sessions, participant workflows, aggregate reporting, optional AI-assisted Perspective Intelligence, Self-Heal guidance and action management. Features and allowances depend on the selected plan. We may improve the service, provided changes do not materially remove paid core functionality during a current billing period without a fair remedy.
3. Customer responsibilities
The customer organisation decides the purpose of its forms and participant sessions. It must have a lawful basis and appropriate notices for the information it collects, use suitable questions, manage member permissions, protect exported data, respond to participant enquiries and avoid using Perspective Cloud for unlawful or high-risk automated decisions.
4. Accounts and permissions
Owners control organisation membership and billing. Administrators and members have the permissions shown in the product. The customer is responsible for people it authorises. Tell us promptly about suspected compromise or unauthorised access.
5. Participant information
Participants normally access a session through a unique secure link. The customer must distribute links safely and must not use the service to pressure participants to reveal responses outside the intended workflow. Perspective Cloud processes participant information under the Data Processing Agreement where the customer is controller.
6. AI-assisted features
AI outputs may be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed by an authorised human. They are not legal, medical, employment or professional advice. Perspective Intelligence is designed around protected aggregate information and excludes participant identity, access tokens and free-text answers from its generation snapshot. Customers must not use AI output as the sole basis for a decision producing legal or similarly significant effects for a person.
7. Subscriptions and payment
Prices, billing period, included allowances and taxes are presented before checkout. Subscriptions renew for the selected monthly or yearly period until cancelled. Stripe processes payments. Failed payment may lead to a limited grace period and then restricted access. Plan allowances reset according to the product’s billing rules and do not roll over unless expressly stated.
8. Trials
A trial provides temporary access subject to plan limits. The trial end date is shown in the product. A paid subscription begins only after successful checkout and confirmation through the payment provider. We may prevent repeated or abusive trials.
9. Cancellation, suspension and termination
You may manage cancellation through the billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use, serious breach, non-payment or protection of the service. Except in urgent cases, we will try to give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.
10. Customer content and licence
The customer retains rights in content it supplies. It grants us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display that content only to operate, secure and support the service, comply with law and follow documented customer instructions.
11. Our intellectual property
Perspective Cloud, its software, interface, branding, documentation and service-generated materials remain ours or our licensors’. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service during authorised access.
12. Confidentiality
Each party must protect non-public information received from the other and use it only for the agreement. This does not cover information that is public without breach, independently developed, lawfully received from another source or required to be disclosed by law.
13. Availability and support
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider incidents and events outside reasonable control may affect access. Support is available through the contact shown below.
14. Warranties and liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, the service is provided with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for decisions made from unreviewed output, customer question design or unauthorised sharing of participant links. For business customers, total aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the affected service during the 12 months before the event, except where a different limit is required by law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security or product reasons. We will identify the version and effective date. Material changes will be notified and may require fresh acceptance. Changes will not be applied retrospectively in an unfair way.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes. Statutory rights and mandatory protections remain unaffected.
