Acceptable Use Policy

This policy protects customers, participants and the reliability of Perspective Cloud. It forms part of the Terms.

You must

• Use the service lawfully and only with appropriate authority.
• Use fair, proportionate questions and explain the purpose of participation.
• Protect accounts, exported data, participant links and recovery links.
• Review AI-assisted output before relying on it.
• Respect privacy, confidentiality, employment, equality and sector-specific obligations.

You must not

• Harass, discriminate against, deceive or unlawfully monitor a person.
• Collect special-category, criminal-offence or highly sensitive data unless genuinely necessary, lawful and appropriately protected.
• Use Perspective Cloud to make a solely automated legal, employment, medical, financial or similarly significant decision about a person.
• Try to identify participants from protected aggregate output or pressure them to reveal answers.
• Upload malware, probe security, bypass allowances, scrape the service, share accounts or interfere with availability.
• Use prompts or content to obtain unlawful, harmful, infringing or confidential material.
• Reverse engineer, resell or copy the service except where expressly permitted by law or written agreement.

Enforcement

• We may investigate suspected misuse and preserve relevant records.
• We may restrict content or access where reasonably necessary for safety, security, law or serious breach.
• Where practical, we will explain the concern and allow a reasonable remedy or appeal.
• Urgent threats, repeated misuse or unlawful activity may lead to immediate suspension or termination.
